The event is FREE ... just come and play, drink and have fun!

Hello All ...

As you know this years event is free but you must have a ticket. Download it from here http://www.ride-the-music.com/rg/rv2011ticket.jpg or grab it from the bottom of this page.

Also, I'm taking this moment to remind you all that this year there will be 2 people missing from our gathering, those being Ian Muir (elizian) and Paul Hadrill (DJ Skitz) who were both taken from us by cancer.

So, free event but I'm asking you to make a donation, whatever you like and all the funds we gather will be forwarded to the respective charities.

Donations can be made via paypal to: sales@retrovision.org.uk

Thank you ... thank you all, see you in May

back on topic ;-) ... lol

I would personally like a summer jolly ... and with hopefully good weather an outside project for the evening. Quite fancy the idea of running Neon on a 10ft screen under the stars! Coooool .... Beer, Mates and Light synth! ... sounds just perfect!

Personally I couldn't make the proposed April date as it clashed with my dad's 65th birthday. My attendance on other dates would depend on finances and health...

R3play is cool ... but RV is to my mind and will prob always be a small llamasoft gig ... I like it that way and there is little or no pressure too. Like the thinking but some things are best left as fun little events and I think we need the smaller events as well as the big ones, makes a good calendar for the community.

Also something worth thinking about is when we have a summer jolly ... maybe July? or August? ... We could even run a hog roast or something ... feel free to throw idea's into the pot.

Well, I'm all about the beers and the company so I'm cool with whatever. Outdoor summer jolly does sound pretty good though :)

Would have to agree that a lot of the charm of RV is that it's a smaller event than something like R3play. R3play was fun, but RV is home.

If we do go for a summer fun jolly it might be best to think mkore July rather than August as thats when *most* folks will be away on holidays, although I guess July can be as bad. Perhaps we shoud aim for early July, just before school break up?

Totally agree with this. There are tentative plans for a Console Combat event in Manchester in July, but a summer Jolly does sound like fun.

If you could avoid the weekend of the 24th, that'd be nice. I'm off to see Iron Maiden

+1 for a relaxed summer jolly. Beers, bbq and games sounds like a top plan...
