Hmm, the Lleague page/settings say "Europe - Fri Feb 13 1998", my MAME says "Korea - Fri Feb 13 1998"

It seems there are six versions of this game available in MAME.
The European one is flagged as the parent, and is named "batrid".
You should be able to download the correct (the one we're playing) version at llamascores.org by following the link above "ROM, Emulator Parameters and Special Instructions".

Yeah, we always use the parent ROM where possible as it negates the need for downloading multiple ROM images,

Sorry, didn't realise there was a difference (not ever having seen the game before about 7 o'clock last night). I guess we'll choose the Normal course and I'll update the web page accordingly.

Looks like I need to update MAME (currently using 0.128), as my version only list three different versions of this game, with no mention of a Euro version. The Japanese version is the parent version in this MAME.

Quite possibly. I always use the latest version of MAME (0.132 currently).
