As I suspected, our company will be matching any donations made through them + Whatever would be the tax + NI So for each £10, the company will also pay about £15.

Well Done Everyone! :D

I gave up trying to donate through the DEC website and used the phone number they gave out. It was an automated system and donated £150 (on the 30th December) but so far nothing is showing up on my credit card, so keep wondering if it went through okay, anyone else used that system and been billed?

I don't know if it has already been mentioned here, but this is a blog with "online information about resources, aid and donations for quake and tsunami victims in Aceh & North Sumatra (Indonesia)"

Image

It was sent to me by a friend who lives in Indonesia.

Big hugs to mame and Zen-Chan for organising this ... that is an incredible amount in such a short space of time. PayPally-challenged Llamasofties seem to have given just as much by other routes so, all in all, a magnificent effort. :winner:

Just donated a few squid via the DEC website, and gave up 30 Gigs on my Easynews account which will be refunded and automatically generate an extra $15 to be donated.
