I suppose the first time Nintendo tested out their Mario Shoe-Horn was Super Mario Bros 2 on the NES.

It wasn't originally going to be a Mario game, but Ninty decided that they could easily change the main sprite to Mario and Pals, thus converting a reasonable game into a Mario game, which as every foo knows, would be much more enjoyable.

Since the success of this, and the last two years being no exception, Ninty has been shoehorning it's plumber and his whacky world into every cunting genre you care to think of.

Dance Games, Soccer Games, Golf Games... even platform games.

Now we ask you to think...

What genre of software or game will Ninty manage to forcebly ram Mario into next?

Don't forget the usual rules...

This should be fun.. I've got a couple of ideas already (though as the boss is in, can't do today and I hope no one takes them heh).

Btw the game in question that was released as SMB2 in the West did come out in Japan: it's called Doki Doki Panic, but it isn't very easy to find actually.
