But as far as I know *nobody* has Headbangers for 8K Vic.

Which makes this kinda important ;).

Got it :D.

Took a few goes, and a fair bit of twiddling between Audacity and the tap creation utility, but we got it :D.

I thought it was lost forever, but:

And it *is* much better than the Speccy version, just as I remembered :).

Headbanger's Heaven for the 8K Vic lives again :D.

wouldn't it be quicker to rewrite it on the vic emulator than try to work out why it doesn't load?
:D

edit: maybe not. So its like GTA for the 3.5K generation!

Congratulations! I've only ever played the Speccy version, and so have never played the Vic version which I remember seeing on the Magicnet site as being superior. Are you planning to put the file somewhere for download?

Yeah, I figure I'll gather up some rarities and release them in a bundle, possibly next weekend :).

I already revived an old Breakout game that's not seen the light of day for a couple of decades while I was getting all my ducks in a row with the tape deck :).

I'm sure there's more in those boxes :)..

If the tape is sucessfully archived and not really going to be used again in the future, it's just begging to be encased in resin and made into one of those 70's style paper weights
